I just got this thing today. I opened the package and was pleasantly surprised to see how easy this thing opens. So far so good. Then, I noticed the absurdly small flange the manufacturer uses as a lock, and, just out of curiosity, I tried to force the blade closed while it was in the locked position (safely of course). To my dismay, the “lock” gave after exerting about as much pressure as it takes to shut my desk drawer. In other words, it closed, while locked, almost as easily as it flicked open. Terrible, terrible design flaw. Amazon should drop this item, or else wait for the products liability suit that is certain to follow with this POC. Needless to say, mine will be in the mail tomorrow. Shipping was fast, though I’m not sure that’s a good thing in this case…

this knife was not what i expected. it is pretty large and the handle is awkwardly larger than the blade. it is definitely better looking in the picture but its still an overall good buy. it is a good hunting/camping knife and looks pretty cool. I guess you should go with an expensive knife from a good brand like buck, gerber, or benchmade. THey will last . Hope this review helped!

It was alrite for the first couple of weeks. I sharpened it personally a few times. The blade itself was very strong and seemed to cut through alot without denting. but… then i dropped it. the screw holding the blade to the handle snapped and the thing was pretty useless. i only dropped it once. overall i give it a 3/5 considering its only about 4 bucks

I like this knife a lot. It’s a really good all around knife. The only complaint I have about it is it doesn’t open all the way when you use the thumb/quick release only. You have to pull it open with your thumb. Which is no big deal, but it is a really cool feature in my other knife.
